Wincome Hospitality Supports Affordable Housing Fund for Anaheim Resort Hospitality Workers
ANAHEIM, Calif. – (September 24, 2025) – Wincome Hospitality, a privately owned real estate development and management firm based in Anaheim, CA, celebrates the Anaheim City Council for unanimously approving a resolution to review proposed changes to the Anaheim Tourism and Improvement District. Also known as ATID, the 2% assessment on hotel stays funds tourism marketing and infrastructure improvements in the Anaheim Resort. Part of the proposed ATID funding change proposal is directing nine percent to fund down payment assistance for Anaheim Resort hotel employees, through a dedicated housing trust fund.
Wincome Hospitality CEO, Paul Sanford, has advocated changes to the ATID funding that include financial giveback to the resort workers. “We have worked diligently over the past two years to bring this vote to review ATID funding resolutions to the Anaheim City Council, and are pleased to receive their unanimous support,” shares Mr. Sanford. “We are strong supporters of allocating ATID funds to hotel and hospitality workers in the Anaheim Resort. The down payment assistance for first-time buyers, leading to home ownership, assists resort employees with realizing the American dream. It is my firm belief that home ownership is a crucial step to financial security, and we have the possibility to make home ownership a more attainable reality.”
The ATID hotels will now vote on the proposed changes, a process that will continue through December 2025. The City of Anaheim press release is available on the city website.
